Isn’t it? The wedding invitation your relatives and loved ones receive from you is almost always the only way they hear about the wonderful news of you getting married. These cards determine if people assist to your wedding or not. So think about it. If your guests receive an invitation that is boring and dull, or with cheesy embellishments or over decorated, etc… they won’t have a good first impression of the ceremony, right? Here is where you think about which are the best wedding invitations for you.

Perfect wedding invitations are almost always the most original and creative ones; invitations that people would never think about. Ones that just would WOW your guests as soon as they lay eyes on them. But more importantly, invitations that say something about you and your spouse.

For example… one of my favorite invitations are the ones that Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro sent out. They were outrageous! These cards featured a picture of themselves as if they were both dead in a morgue. Imagine that…! sending out an invitation with an image of you and your partner dead asking people to attend to your marriage. I think you would have a pretty empty ceremony, wont you?

But why did it work for Carmen and Dave? Because that invitation portrays something about both of them. It says something that is true about them, something they are. Not dead! But that they’re crazy and eccentric people.

So if you want your invitations to be a topic your guests will talk about, take your time to think of that special thing that represents you and your other half that will just dazzle them. Don’t overdue your cards with many extra things or write them with an ultra-sophisticated calligraphy that no one can tell what the heck does your invitation say. Keep it simple and elegant, and remember to include your personal touch into them.

If you are not interested in those classic invitations we always see around, don’t worry. With all the different styles and decorative features marriage invitations have now a day, you have a wide array of options to choose from.

Ranging from Western to Modern, from Celtic to Hawaiian, even Disney Mickey wedding invitations, your imagination is the limit. Try choosing a style that represents you and your partner.

If you think your relationship with your other half has a more fashionable kick to it, then modern wedding invitations are the way to go. Very distinctive, fun, fresh and stylish is how people describe modern invitations. They can feature anything from a picture of the couple to elegant designs and patterns that makes your stationary be remembered long after that special day is over.

If you can’t decide on which design to choose from don’t panic! Talk to you stationer for recommendations or customize your own design. Building one-of-a-kind invitations is always a great option because no one will ever see one like that ever again.

Take a minute to imagine your guests when they receive the wonderful news that you’re getting married. How would you feel if they just sat there and contemplate your beautiful and stylish stationary? That they would have to ask to themselves where in god’s name did you find such a good-looking invitation? Better yet, that they would want their own invitations to look like the one they have in front of their eyes? Feels great, doesn’t it?

Make your invitations last in your visitors’ memories for years to come. Make them want to keep the card instead of throwing it away.

You might think that can be a nearly impossible task, and why wouldn’t you? You are used to receiving boring invitations and see the same thing over and over again that it’s beginning to become redundant. If you really put that much excitement into it and want to impress your guests, modern wedding stationary are just the thing for you.

Can’t decide which design you like best? Or perhaps you have a specific theme planed for your wedding? Whichever it is, customized wedding invitations are available for you to create one of a kind designs in every part of your complete wedding stationary.

Try to make them more personal and say it with style. Remember that these invitations set the mood for the weeding. If you have around twenty designs or themes in mind, narrow them down to no more than 5. Keep it elegant and simple at the same time while creating them. Sometimes too much is bad.

The parts for a complete wedding ensemble are:

-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal"> Save the date

-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal"> The actual Invitation

-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal"> Outer envelope

-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal"> Inner envelope

-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal"> Response card and pre-addressed envelope

-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal"> Reception card

-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal"> Map

-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal"> Accommodation information (for out of county guests)

You have to keep in mind that the theme of the invitation has to be carried though all of the parts. You don’t want people thinking you have no taste, right?

Save the date cards and invitations are usually very similar, because a save the date card is an actual invitation but sent out long before the date or marriage so that your guests can plan for the ceremony. Using a classy letterpress on cotton paper custom blind embossing or hot foil stamping will impress your guests. If you want to make the invitation uniquely yours, consider engraving your name or symbol of choice on the paper.

Don’t embellish the outer envelope as its function is to protect the inner envelope from the evil hands of the mailing service. Just write down the address and paste stamps onto it. The inner envelope can be adorned, plus you may use stylish alternatives to seal it than to just lick it. Embossed seals, foil initial seals, wax seals, dried flower seals or personalized name sales are some recommendations.

The rest of the ensemble is also similar to the invitation but remember to put excitement and love into it.

Exotic weddings break traditional wedding conventions that have been around for centuries. This proves to be a great asset since they are not subject to any kind of rules or traditions other than the ones you like, practice or believe in.

You can have a classic elegant ceremony located in India with decorated elephants and extravagant clothes and foods, or your can throw a fun and crazy wedding on your very own “Fantasy Island”. Whichever style you choose, you should send out exotic wedding invitations that match your theme to prepare your guests to be dazzled with the spectacular ceremony that awaits them.

Lively, vibrant, joyful and energetic; those are just a few words that people use when describing exotic wedding invitations. Without a doubt, this style brings a festive introduction for your upcoming wedding, full with rich colors and excitement that will amuse your guests.

For people that want an African, Indian, Japanese, Hispanic or Malaysian wedding, ethnic wedding invitations are also available. However with the popularity of cross-ethnic weddings rising throughout the years, the need for inter-faith invitations is very clear. Decorated also with exotic features, these invitations do not depict any religion so you can rest assured when sending them out.

With a very extensive repertoire to choose from, exotic invitations have interesting as well as unique designs. For instance, Indian wedding invitations can come in the form of scroll wedding cards symbolizing a royal wedding invitation from India. A tropical style features overlays and beautiful embellishments that make the invitation look striking.

But if you still feel that your stationary is not as perfect as it should be, remember that you can always customize your wedding invitations. Give them your personal touch through original and creative work and make them as unique and exotic as you are.

I have a friend who was engaged and was planning her perfect wedding ceremony. I can remember all her joy and excitement she had because she was finally going to tight the knot and say those marvelous words “I do”. But I can also remember her expressing concern over all the wedding costs. That thing was going way out of hand! So I did what most of you are thinking, I helped her out.

Together we scavenged the internet and found reasonable prices for some parts of her wedding without compromising quality, beauty and elegancy from her ceremony. She decided to play is safe with the wedding cards and buy inexpensive wedding invitations. This choice really relived her costs in a way we never thought it would.

This can be simply done by knowing how a good-looking design is like. You should know that a complete wedding stationary is comprised of;

- Save the date cards

- The formal invitation

- An outer envelope and an inner envelope

- A response card and pre-addressed envelope

- A reception card

- A map

Also, you can possibly include accommodation information for out of town guests. Of course, this does not mean that if you don’t include any of the before mentioned parts your wedding invitations are wrong. Remember that we are looking for inexpensive wedding invitations.

It is completely understandable if you wish to save extra money on invitations to make another part of your marriage shine. The thing is to know that you don’t have to scarify a classy looking invitation for that matter.

So if you are experiencing a cutback in your wedding budget, don’t worry. If you search carefully and think wisely, you will be able to significantly reduce costs by looking for inexpensive deals instead of joy. I know my friend did. So can you!

But you should be careful because these invitations can end up being either glamorous o cheesy. And I have a feeling you don’t want cheesy invitations…

How can wedding invitations be cheesy?

Most people think of gold and big and opulent adornments when they hear the word luxury. But if you are looking for a great luxury invitation to send out to your guests these are some things to avoid:

Big and complicated calligraphy

Extravagant golden letter pressing

Pasting precious stones on the card

Including glitter inside the inner envelope

You do not want your invitations to be written with such a complex calligraphy because then nobody will be able to read them! Golden letters do not work for weddings; consider silver letters, not even platinum because they can shine a bit too much. Precious stones? I don’t think so, unless you want your invitations to be extremely delicate and by the time they arrive to their destination the stones fell off.

And do not; I repeat, DO NOT include glitter in the envelopes! I don’t know who told who that this looked elegant, but it looks like a 3 year old did the invitations, plus it makes a mess when your guests take the invitations out of the envelope and you don’t want them picking up after you right?

Luxury and Elegance: The Secret

The one and only secret to having real luxurious wedding invitations is keeping it simple. There are things to keep in mind when making your invitations look elegant and luxurious like the type of paper, the wording and color of the stationary.

It is not impossible to bring the beach right to your guests in your tropical themed wedding. But don’t think you’re going to have to send thousands of sand bags to a beach in the Caribbean so you can collect sand and bring it all over to your ceremony. There are ways to be a little bit more creative

Everything starts, of course, by sending out beach weeding invitations. As they set in the mood for everything, your guests will probably be very surprised you are throwing a ceremony like this one.

Starting with getting the right decoration is vital. Placing rich hot colors all around give the marriage a sense of tropical love. Of course, the wedding invitations have to match the decoration in every sense. Pasting a starfish onto the card is a great way to give your guests a hint of how everything is going to be like, as well as some sand, but always do remember to specify the dress code. Some couples still want to keep formal etiquette with the dress code even though they are throwing a beach wedding.

Go to a near by beach, or visit famous tropical island websites and mimic their ambiance so that your reception can be as exotic as the real deal. The most typical theme is a Hawaiian wedding featuring Hawaiian wedding invitations with hula girls imprinted into them. However, the theme isn’t that important as long as you reflect your own excitement into your invitations. That is the only way to ensure that they are the best wedding invitations you can send out.

You are always going to need response cards and envelopes, you can bet on it for sure! But if you agree the internet new trend and the responding wedding invitation cards project you should include your e mail address on the invitation. This way you will be able to receive all the wedding details directly into your inbox.

But if you prefer snail mail, you just have to spend some extra money to put stamps on the envelopes to be returned, this invest will increase the chance to get the responses quickly. If you don’t want to place money inside an envelope, then just send out some stamps.

Are thinking about having a supper for family and some friends? Yes? This is a very formal moment and because of this you could probable need a wedding guest book and “thank you” notes to match your invitations. Maybe you want to announce the wedding to people who are not in the invitations list. The solution in this case is sending the wedding announcement after the ceremony with a small photo from the wedding as a nice souvenir.

Your wedding invitations and all the accessories have to reflect the style of the wedding in general terms. These details will be very useful to make that day a remarkable and memorable day, for you, your partner, your family and friends, everyone will be delighted and you will feel very proud of yourself.

Son of Mr. And Mrs. William Ford

These details obviously can change depending on the purpose that you have.

Something less formal could be like this:

Lindsay Kittie Brice
and
James Sawyer Ford
invite you to eyewitness
their vows of love
on their wedding day.
(etc…)

At this point, nothing is really right or wrong; it depends on the moment, the purpose of the couple and the style of the wedding

In some cases it would be necessary to include the invitations to the wedding reception along with the wedding invitation. In other cases it would be better to separate invitations.

A separate invitation to the reception only might look like this:

Linsay Kittie Brice
And
Mr. James Sawyer Ford
Request the pleasure of your company
At their wedding reception,
Saturday, the seventh of May
at five o’ clock in the afternoon.
St. Luca’s Church
4567 Eight Avenue

RSVP
975 -241-9756

Reply cards, are a new invention for your wedding invitations. They are separated cards included inside the invitation that need to be filled out. Formal protocol requires you to supply stamps to the reply card’s envelope.

If you care about each situation of your wedding, including your invitations in this way you will be transmitting a beautiful environment full of love, and a good time to remember in the future

Remember that E-mail RSVPs are not acceptable except if the event is not formal. Sometimes it would be appropriate to invite a guest to your wedding but not to your reception. However this will almost never be the case.

Ranging from the long-established church weddings to marriages celebrated under water, the locations and styles of tying the knot are very different. You should then choose a wedding invitation theme that involves the design of the event. Here are some tips to think about:

If you’re going to have a traditional wedding in a church, you would probably wish something elegant and customary, not flashy or eccentric. If you are celebrating your wedding in a sunny field with wildflowers and a beautiful landscape, a colorful invitation would be the right one.

What color do you think could represent the wedding? Your wedding invitations are the ones who can give you the answer, let it reflect the style of your wedding. A small wedding could have a beautiful gold color on the wedding invitations, very decorative and intimate. An informal wedding could have some joyful pastel colors for the invitations.

If you want to reflect a specific religion or some ethnic you should consider these traditions on your wedding invitations! You would be very original and you would be following your family traditions at the same time, if you can not find them on stores, you could design and adapt them with your personal touch if you want.
